Enjoy the same River but with a different View, as you get to enjoy the sunset and illumination of the full moon while navigating the Dan River. With a guide in the front and back of the pack, you will wear headlamps (only being turned on when necessary) and be guided the entire trip.
Includes tracker, glowstick, life jacket, shuttle, head lamp, and guides.

MORE INFO FIREFLY FLOAT
Enjoy listening to the sounds of nature and watching natures fireworks, the fireflies. The fireflies are typically full in the trees lining the river, one of our favorite floats, as you enjoy the sunset and the fireflies in conjunction with friends and family. They mate only a couple of months in the year and the display of the flickering lights will leave you in awe. Includes tracker, glowstick, life jacket, shuttle, head lamp, and guides.

This float will be any unusual blow up float, please choose thicker floats. We picked Friday when the river is less busy. Armed with pool floats, Xtra large oddity floats, and a mindset of having fun, participants float from the lower Rapids to Dan River Outfitters take out. Hotdog supper, bonfire, and smores station when you return. Includes tube inflation / deflation, life jacket, shuttle service, guides in front and back of the pack, and pictures.

Ready yourself for some explosive fun! This River Adventure sets off at 8:00 pm and starts with a relaxed paddle where you get to take in Natures beauty of the sunset, then onto Natures Fireworks – aka the fireflies. During the last portion of the float, you will then take in the beauty of manmade fireworks, as it lights up the water around you, while we continue our float back to our destination. Includes tracker, glowstick, life jacket, shuttle, head lamp, and guides.

Many dont realise you are helping to restore a beautiful 1931 Motel while having fun on the River. All proceeds go to the restoration of Grogans Riverfront which will, in due time, become a unique Boutique Motel.

River Events

We offer several guided events for the adventurous soul, you must pay in advance for all our events to secure your spot.
We use our Trackers for our night events so that you can stay dry at night, as it can get cool on the water at night.
All night events depart at 7:30 pm and return 10:00 pm. Age 10 and up. Can bring small cooler that will sit at your feet on the Tracker (no cooler floats are available on the night events). Prior kayak/tracker experience needed. No Pets. Please eat Prior to coming.
